Becoming a mother is one of the most rewarding experiences. My family just welcomed our second daughter earlier this year giving me the honor of being a mother to two. We are so grateful for our girls, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t hard days.

The number 5 resonates with us in 2019: Colt and I will celebrate our 5th year of marriage; we are the 5th family to own Rose Lane Farm; and, we have lived in Virginia for 5 years.

What do you get when you mix adventure with simple comforts? You get this beautifully restored Airstream. For Clare and James, this is the perfect combination of their personalities. She's outdoorsy, and he's a homebody and their Airstream, renovated by Clare's brother and sister-in-law, allows them to pick up and travel while feeling at home.

Spending time with this wonderful, young family at their home in Alameda, CA was beyond special. They relocated to the tiny Bay Area island several years ago from their home in Spain for work. And since then, have created a magical space to take their babies home from the hospital and watch their family grow!

From towering columns to a spiraling staircase and imported stone from Europe, we wanted to enhance the quiet elegance of the home by bringing in an organic floral installation that would highlight Quynh, the beautiful mom-to-be. We hope you love the images as much as we do!

Building our farmhouse was an unforgettable process and it was such a blessing. I loved designing and working with our builders, and they truly became like family to us. We couldn't imagine spending our life anywhere else.
