A few weeks ago the Cottage Hill team packed their bags for a trip to Austin, Texas. With photo shoots to attend for our upcoming issue, The Captivated Issue, and Silver Cup artists to meet we were thrilled to have the chance to hit the road and follow the mission of Cottage Hill. Along the way we met up with Silver Cup artist Emilie Anne Photography who joined us for a day of visiting local shops and stops. Here are just a few of the places we loved!

These images tell the story of an inspiring couple, Ben and Lindsey Thompson (a musician and artist) who recently made the move from the big city (Austin) to 20 acres of land out in the Texas hill country. They moved into an old rock homestead, called the Hatton House, dating back to the 1850s.

This beautiful family wanted their photos to represent what their Saturday mornings look and feel like to them at this time when their children are still so young.

I am 100% of the mind that photographs should get off of your computer and onto your walls.

Becoming a mother is one of the most rewarding experiences. My family just welcomed our second daughter earlier this year giving me the honor of being a mother to two. We are so grateful for our girls, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t hard days.
