Engagement Session on a farmhouse estate

This is an engagement session from a real couple that takes place on a private farmhouse estate. The concept was a simple one where the bride-to-be has prepared a fun surprise for her fiancé when he gets home, just to celebrate the fact that they can and they are in love!

The Estate itself inspires so much comfort as it also doubles as a cheery B&B on over eleven acres of scenic landscape and rolling pastures. The couple, Elise and Carl, have the warmest personalities. Both are simply crazy about the other and we wanted to capture that essence by having their engagement session take place in the kitchen — where only good things happen!

It starts out with Elise setting out a spread of all things delicious and having Carl be surprised when he walks in. It’s a little pick-me-up to celebrate their love because let’s face it…it’s the little things that count and no one ever says no to macarons and tarts!
