An Elopement on the Amalfi Coast
This inspirational shoot was stationed and styled just above the Mediterranean Sea at the Hotel Caruso in Rovello with a focus on architecture, landscape and love that emanates from this artful city. Originally a palace built in the 11th century, the hotel is the definition of Italian luxury.
Chaviano Couture's Newest Collection
Looking through this beautiful collection I can’t help but think about how these dresses truly evoke the emotions of falling in love. The gowns contain so many innocent elements: conservative necklines, and clothed shoulders. For me, this so reflects the innocents of falling love. But to balance the gowns just like an early relationship there are exciting and vulnerable elements. These elements truly bring this collection alive with glimpses of collarbones and deep-v’s revealing soft backs. This collection truly seems to capture the essence of amore.
Erich McVey Workshop in California
I love all of the layers in this gown, the seclusion of this beach and the intimacy of this entire feature so stunningly captured by Jenna McElroy - who, will be joining Silver Cup next month. I love this, because it's like a glimpse of something wonderful bubbling and building inside of her - a song.
Don't die with your song still inside of you. These words have haunted me the past few days. How often do we bury or hide our true feelings in fear of, what exactly? Friends, life is too short to not forgive wholeheartedly, live abundantly and love extravagantly.
Weekend Getaways by Jodi Miller
You may not have had a talented photographer like Jodi Miller to capture your adventure, but we are confident love has taken you to exciting places. What has your favorite getaway been? Maybe your honeymoon or a yearly weekly trip? What about a spontaneous adventure or frequent date night? We’d love to hear your story!
One Year Anniversary at Merrimon-Wynne House
There is something so sweet and beautiful about spending a slow morning in bed reading a letter from your honey, flipping through wedding photos, and cuddling as you retell wedding stories and reflect on your first year.
Vista Valley Styled Shoot By To La Lune
A marriage is also much like a mosaic. Bringing two broken people together to become one is hard work, but the results are always amazing. To La Lune brought together the perfect artists for this Vista Valley styled shoot and the results were magical!
A Transatlantic Love Story by Arnau Dubois
Being from two different nationalities was not always easy for the couple, but they decided to invest in one another and stand by the other’s side no matter what challenges came their way. Love knows no language barrier or nation’s border. Love is a language spoken to hearts all over the world.
60 Years of Marriage and What It Takes To Get There
This. This is what Cottage Hill is about. Celebrating love that has been fought for for 60 years. Love that has made it through thick and thin, that has inspired others to live differently. The celebration of 60 years of marriage is not something that happens often, and we are honored to share these beautiful photographs of Will and Nancy Ray's grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary.
Celebrating the Groom
We are on a mission to bring men back into the marriage and wedding conversation, so we made this shoot a birthday for "him." Complete with a masculine and delicious apple cider spritzer, courtesy of Le Grand Courtage and smoke artisan cheeses served on a handcrafted Linwood Co. cutting board.
Meet The Homecoming Issue
Introducing a new kind of magazine - a wedding and lifestyle publication featuring fine art inspiration that evokes a sense of elegance and meaning. The Homecoming Issue explores the idea that a wedding is more than the beginning of a marriage, but of a home, a family, a legacy. This is truly the foundation of Cottage Hill.
A Malibu Trail Engagement
Lauren and Don share a heart for nature and the timeless beauty of California. They wanted their love of the outdoors to be reflected in their engagement pictures. From hot air ballooning in Turkey to hiking in Vietnam, it is only fitting that this couple got engaged at the base of a stunning waterfall.
Hosting a Bridesmaids Luncheon
There is something about being with your closest friends that is good for the soul. I adore the unique opportunity weddings present to shower our friends with love. Christina Leigh of Christina Leigh Events put together the loveliest shoot that celebrates those deeply rooted friendships.
The Simple Beauty of Elopements
“Elopements are kind of creeping back into the world of weddings and truthfully, I love those even more. With elopements, you get a day that's truly focused on the bride and groom and their love for each other, without people sharing stress/opinions and timelines and details that don't go as they should - a time where the raw moments and celebration of two people in love are really what's glorified. Those are what I want to photograph."
Breathtaking Shoot With Ballerina Bride
Nestled on the Sunset Cliffs near San Diego, ‘bride’ and principal ballerina of Los Angeles Ballet Allyssa graced the landscape with rapturous movements.
Love Letters: A Timeless Expression of Love
A simple letter holds words filled with love and promises from across the ocean. This is the love that many of our grandparents and great-grandparents shared. A love filled with distance, waiting and time but also timelessness.
A Rustic Wedding at Rock Lake Ranch
From vases and jars collected by the bride’s family to the handmade journals placed as table numbers for guests to write advice for the newlyweds to read on that year’s anniversary, Brent and Ashley chose to focus on details to cherish.
A Message From Your Cottage Hill Family
A personal note from your Cottage Hill family as the world mourns the life-changing event that occurred thirteen years ago today.
Stunning Bridal Portraits in Charleston
The concept for this shoot was actually completely inspired by River Oaks Charleston. There is elegance in simplicity. With a location like River Oaks Charleston, styling by its graceful owner Marianne and all captured by Justina Bilodeau – there is a certain magic in these bridal portraits that can only be created by artists who truly pour love into the details.
A Wedding at the Drake Hotel in Chicago
One of the greatest aspects of marriage is two different people becoming one and creating a life together. It’s fun, new, and can also be a little scary! No matter how similar your personalities or interests, each couple brings differences into their marriage. The most beautiful part of this process is seeing what one person lacks, the other one has to give and vice versa. Fitting these puzzle pieces together creates one really outstanding couple.
