A Quiet Elegant Afternoon At Home

When photographer Sara Weir sent us this family session, it reminded us of our first mission statement: “Cottage Hill celebrates lives worthy of an elegant and meaningful legacy.” We created this blog (and magazine) to celebrate the things you'll want to remember like how your mom used to set the table so beautifully or how your dad could always make you laugh. An elegant doesn't mean fancy to us; it means simple but important. We felt a lot of that in this family session.
This is the beautiful Walter family. Both are artists in every sense. Brie is a painter, writer, and the mastermind behind Pavan Floral. Her husband is a musician and composer. They live this beautiful artist life of finding joy in the process. Their meals are simple and slow. Their sons favorite activity painting and sculpting from clay. I wanted to capture the relaxed love they share together. I can't think of a better home than Cottage Hill for these precious images!
