Holiday Wreaths with Heather Page
While Christmas may be just around the corner, it's not too late to deck your door with something simple and elegant to celebrate the season. We love today's inspiration captured by Simply Rosie Photography and designed by Heather Page. Heather shared with us how she created these simple, beautiful wreaths.
We made the bases out of foraged dogwood and willows. We wired on the materials using paddle wire (can be found at your local florist or craft store) and I've found that a 26 gauge wire seems to be the magic number for standard wreath and garland making. The wreaths were made by layering the product and attaching it firmly onto the willow base. Such a beautiful and simple way to bring the nature indoors.

For this dinner party, I wanted to create an environment of festivity, warmth, inclusion and a hint of nostalgia to kick off our first holiday season back in Michigan. From the smells of Grandma's pot roast in the oven to the hand-written place cards inviting each guest to their seat, I wanted everyone to feel welcome from the moment they stepped in from the cold.
It’s tradition in Maine to go apple picking in the fall, and Cassie and Dustin took it up a notch with the cutest anniversary apple orchard photo shoot ever! Find 'Nancy's Pumpkin Pie Recipe' below by Dustin's mother!

to greet a new season of beauty yet to be created.”
We wanted inspiration for a bachelorette trip the didn’t involve pool floats and shots at a bar and focused more on why your bridesmaids mean so much to you.
Sweet Root Village and I teamed up this Spring for a day of floral design and good food with a group of friends.
Hosting people is such a personal, giving act, and I love showcasing how different people not only set the scene, but serve.
