Casa Olivi : A Bridal Editorial in Le Marche, Italy

We are quite picky when it comes to editorials, but this was an emphatic ‘yes!’ when it hit the submissions email.

Combining beautiful spaces, the breathtaking geography of Le Marche, Italy, a divine food spread, wedding inspiration, and crisp fashion into one impeccable shoot, how could we not be inspired and share with you?

Elisa Generali with Merry Le Marche is a destination event organiser, and she tells us the region of Le Marche—where the shoot took place— is very much up and coming.

First, the villa that hosted the shoot is the prestigious Casa Olivi designed by Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron. The minimal and modern design is striking alongside the true-to-historic Italian farmhouse architecture. Its praises from across the world come at no surprise. A quick visit to the villa’s website, tells us that for guests, the hosts can arrange exclusive culinary experiences like a private Michelin star dinner or a day trip with a truffle hunter. Consider us sold.

The food is a large part of the editorial, as the concept is to highlight and celebrate the slow Italian lifestyle. The day of a woman leisuring around the villa and grazing on delectable food “just cannot get any sweeter, and we wish we can get back to that lifestyle soon,” says Elisa.

Last, it should be noted that the editorial video had its own original soundtrack created just for this shoot.
