Outdoor Wedding by Eventi - The Reception
Welcome back to part two of Jen and John’s beautiful outdoor wedding. Yesterday we shared their ceremony and today, I m so excited to share their reception and all of the thoughtful details. Jen also shared a wonderful idea for brides who may be nervous before the wedding. Read below to learn more and check out the fully gallery here!
What moment at your wedding will you always remember?
Saying our vows, that we had each written for each other was probably the most memorable. I was SO nervous leading up to the day, but as soon as I was standing up there with John, it was like, no one else was there. The vows were personal to us and I was so happy we decided to do it that way.
Any advice for other brides?
If you are at all nervous about being the center of attention or just the wedding day in general, my biggest piece of advice is to do a first look. We did a first look and then took all of our pictures with the wedding party and family before the ceremony started. Having those couple of hours to spend with John and everyone before the ceremony made me SO much less nervous. By the time it was time to start the ceremony I was like "ok, let's do this!". We also were able to enjoy the entire cocktail hour since we had already taken all of our pictures!
