Today on the blog, a home tour of a traditional adobe home in New Mexico, carefully furnished with a mixture of antiques and traditional crafts. Belonging to textile designer Emily Factor and created in collaboration with interior designer Melody Weir, this home is an example of how working with local materials and a natural reduced colour palette can create a beautiful atmosphere of calm and a feeling of deep connection to the environment.
Emily Factor resided in the home for 2 years, during a stint between leaving LA and moving to Texas. She is a Textile Designer and founder of Sixteen Cypress.
