An Autumn Morning in the Hills of Levi Finland

We have been craving real autumn weather here at the Cottage Hill office. And let's be honest, the Finns know how to not only look chic in the colder seasons, but they also know how to do a slow morning well. We loved this sweet session with Katariina and Lauri!

Our story takes place in the hills of Levi in Finnish Lapland. Autumn comes early in the arctic circle and for our couple, the crisp fall weather was the perfect invitation for a morning snuggled up by the fire at their cottage.

After having some beautiful foraged chanterelles and freshly baked bread, Katariina & Lauri head out for a walk in the colorful autumn landscape. A simple story that captures the essence of fall in a rugged landscape.

We love the muted colors of the home tying into the clothes on the couple and even into the foraged food. We simply cannot wait until Autumn circles back around this year after seeing this gorgeous Finnish Autumn morning.
