With the holiday season just around the corner, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle rather than focusing on what truly matters, your family. This Thanksgiving engagement inspiration, designed by Victoria Austin Designs, reminds us to share our love story and lives with those who love us unconditionally. Thanksgiving is a time once a year that families travel miles and miles to sit around a table and share a meal together.

From Victoria, “We all agreed that celebrating an engagement over the holidays is not only convenient for many but most memorable and intimate. This shoot was less about pretty things and more about real things. This family-style dinner celebration was adapted from real-life events. Friends of ours were recently engaged and instead of having an engagement party, they waited a few weeks until they were both home with their loved ones and turned their traditional Thanksgiving into a feast of celebration! I loved this idea because so many of us can relate to living miles and miles from our immediate families. Thanksgiving is the perfect opportunity to embrace time with those closest to you, celebrate such a joyous occasion, and of course, give thanks!”

Thanksgiving is much more than just a day or a meal. It is a time for loved ones to come together and share their lives with each other. It doesn't matter if you have the “perfect” tablescape or the “best” place settings, all that matters is having people you love surrounding a table and sharing life together.
