Getting Ready for Your Wedding Day

The excitement leading up to your wedding day is full of planning and anticipation. And when the day finally arrives, the morning getting ready to share your vows can be just as special as the actual ceremony. Leah of Watson & Payne Photography shares with us some beautiful moments of a bride and groom getting ready. She also shared some thoughts as to why she feels these moments are so special.

I often think people forget how important the moments just before a wedding ceremony are. These images are of a bride and groom who got ready at the bride's family home. She has 8 siblings and the most special family. The bride's mother made her earrings and veil! They spent all morning preparing for a wonderful day with the people that mean the most to them. Getting ready somewhere that is comfortable and beautiful is sometimes underestimated, but on this wedding day each and every image holds unique memories. Whether it be the little family pictures in the background or the fireplace in her parents bedroom...each image of their wedding day holds depth and meaning deeper than that day alone. To make things even better, the family is full of talent and with each spare moment they all sang together or gathered around the piano. I really can't put into words the atmosphere created on that morning.
