'Halcyon Days' Blue & Gold Coastal Wedding Inspiration

These images were captured by Brian Whitt at the Forage & Fern workshop by Magnolia Rouge along the Californian coast. It was sublime being surrounded by the calmness of the ocean waves and end-of-summer breezes as the sun was setting during this shoot. Type A Society's creative direction and styling for this inspirational shoot came from a myth known as the Halcyon Days. It is a forbidden love story where to Zeus granted Halcyon and Ceyx only have a short window of time together by the sea each year.

There is much to love in romantic details from the golden handmade gown by Stephen Lewis Designs to the wildly beautiful and creative bouquet by Ponderosa & Thyme. Jessica Wilcox's moody and elegant hair and makeup are perfect and the stunning bridal headpiece by Melinda Rose Design is a lovely finishing touch. The wedding details are completed with ethereal calligraphy and paper goods by Boho Ink, a whimsical veil by Girl With A Serious Dream and a one of a kind bench from Metcalf Woodworks. Hopefully your love is not forbidden and you are feeling inspired for the perfect details and a beautiful location for your wedding day!
