Family Christmas Tree by Anthem Photography
Every year my family and I travel to the North Carolina mountains to find the perfect tree. But it’s more than just a trip for a tree, it is a family tradition. Time spent together as a family becomes more and more sacred as my sister, brother and I get older. The days we have spent at a Christmas tree farm sipping cider, or sledding in the snow, or searching through the rows and rows of trees for our Christmas tree, are days to be remembered and cherished.
Maria of Anthem Photography and her husband share the same family tradition as my own and I love what she had to say about their Christmas tree hunt. “My favorite part about that day was the fact that it was sunny out, a rare thing in Portland. We had our steamy coffee in hand and just ran around like little kids goofing off and trying to find the perfect tree. It was carefree and just so much fun!”
Finding the “perfect” Christmas tree has a different meaning to each person in my family but one thing always remains the same, once we find the tree we all know.
